Truly great performances of Verdi's La Traviata come along once in a generation, and this astonishing revival of Richard Eyre's 1994 Royal Opera production may well go down in history as one of the defining operatic experiences of our times. (Five stars)
La traviata: Ecstasy greets a rising star
Until last night sheer bad luck had shielded me from the full-on Anna Netrebko experience. But now that Ive seen, heard, and inwardly drooled over the sensational 36-year-old Russian soprano at first hand, theres no going back. (Four stars)
Be seduced by a superstar (Four stars)
After an unpredictably drab first act, the Royal Opera's outing of La Traviata on Monday evening inexplicably transformed into a gripping and brilliant piece of theatre. Anna Netrebko and Jonas Kaufmann are a physically beautiful and musically sensational pairing as Violetta and Alfredo. (Four stars)

The opera was magic! Opera isnt boring - no way!
The Independent also has a review but their server seems to be down more than it's up. Amateurism.
I've added some photos to my entry below, which will be obvious to those actually reading the blog but not to those in a Feedreader (which, obviously, is the best way to read blogs if you have a lot to read!). I was a bit far away to get them any less grainy. Plus, those in front-of-curtain-calls are less well lit than full stage ones.
