The exquisitely lovely Iestyn Davies singing in what will undoubtedly be the highlught of my Proms season and one of my highlights of 2009 (although I do have one Prom left to attend...)
I just think that Iestyn Davies has an extraordinary voice, superb musicality, and that certain je ne sais quoi (the X factor) that strongly indicates that he is very much a star in the ascendancy - he's 30 in a couple of weeks.
* Last night, ITV1 showed the first part of a two-part dramatisation of Wuthering Heights. I find that whenever WH is mentioned, I immediately think of Kate Bush's song, which I consider to be a very great song, that captures the essence of the novel
