Being that I am anally retentive, I often make a note in my paper diary about what I have worn that day. It's a bit anoraky; on the other hand, it could act as a control against always wearing the same outfit to the same place or type of event.
It then struck me that I was using a lot of words to distinguish, for example, on white top or pair of grey trousers from another. So I thought, save the words, take a picture. Just to stick in my diary.

Some items are worn strictly round the house; I generally take a picture before I go out in the morning. But not always. Sometimes I change during the day. Or just add a cardigan. Most of the indoor photos are taken by myself, camera perched on a shelf at heights that aren't the best. And I peer anxiously at the camera to see if it's actually going to work. And most of the time I can't be arsed to mess around with AWB and so on.
