Naturally, both of them wanted to know what a steroid is, especially a jealous one, and I only hope that Faye and Scary, who also commented on that post aren't jealous steroids at not being called 'jealous steroids'.
I always love it when criticism of the mediocre is labelled as 'jealousy'. It seems to me something limited to the fanatics of crappy cr***o**r shit singers - Potts, Dame Kathleen von Warbling-Barbie-Jenkins of Neath Port Talbot and Bridgend, and Andrea Senzatalento. I have written reviews of actual live performances, including even singers I adore (Nanci Griffith, for example) where I have expressed disappointment and criticism, and nobody has suggested jealousy. I am critical of footballers and football teams, politicians and political parties, vacuous journalists, dumbed-down TV, close personal acquaintances - and nobody has ever said that I am jealous. I would love to know what it is that I am jealous of.
I suppose it could be jealousy that someone with no discernible talent has made six-figure sums but it's been scientifically proven that pursuit of money creates unhappiness rather than happiness. How these frauds can look in the mirror in the morning is beyond me. Frankly, if I wanted to prostitute myself, I'd do it on my back in a sleazy hotel room rather than by obtaining money from the ignorant and terminally stupid under false pretences.
Meanwhile, we learn that Britons 'happy to own fakes' , which is rather proven by the presence of Potts the Pub Crooner at the top of the album charts. The pop album charts,naturally...
