Walking past the main entrance to our office today on the way home there were two separate TV News crews poised to take interesting pictures of our building lit up in the dark. (It's quite nice, but nicer in daylight).
I do wonder about the purpose of doing this. They must have plenty enough library shots by now; if not they have even more of the building we left almost two years ago.
But I suppose if they stand outside the building it makes it look as if they have gone out to do some real investigative reporting, rather than just googling what their rivals are saying and ringing up a Rent-a-Quote backbencher.
Walking along Brixton Road, lost in thought, pondering the great question of the day, should I blog it or Twitter it, I found myself staring alluringly into a film camera that was filming people walking along Brixton Road. I think it will make a good shot, because although I was looking directly at the camera, I was not aware of its presence for a good few seconds - which is a long time in film. I expect a call from a casting director any day...
But what I really really want to say about the future Windsor Brood Mare over on Have Your Say , why on earth can't the British public install a spellchecker into their browser. Every time you type in a submission-form, it underlines the mis-spellings. Believe you me, many of those contributors could do with one...
