Arts blog - music: Hurrah for those who booed the tenor*
I'm hardly a neutral bystander, but that is just appalling 'journalism'. They sit there on their fat overpaid arses googling the world wide web, expressing opinions. Imagine getting paid for writing:
Sadly, I wasn't at the Met on Tuesday, but it sounds as if...
That isn't journalism, that's sheer conjecture and hearsay. Seems like this idiot - name of Guy Dammann - isn't even competent at Googling.
I know you might think I'm over-reacting, but this is the same standard of journalism that is supposed to hold the Government and Big Business to account. And fail miserably. We, the public, rely on proper journalists to find out, check facts and present a full and balanced picture. Day after day there are examples of utter lunacy in the Press written by tossers who presumably got their job based on who they know rather than what their abilities are. Unless their niche talent is sitting in front of a computer screen and pontificating. In which case this stupid little man is less competent than hundreds of thousands of bloggers. Imagine if he had to work for a living. Twat.

Why oh why did I get rid of my 'Rants' category?
* can't even get the headline right - they booed the conductor
