In the course of writing my little pornographic ouevre last year, Jilly Cooper's upcoming novel was discussed. It is now out, and she has been interviewed by the Observer about the "bags of research" she had to do for it
But I'd no idea that some children have nowhere to do homework, or that their parents are out of it on drugs.
And this from a former journalist - and close friend of the Royal Family.
It makes me feel physically sick that there are people like her coining it in and supposedly knowledgable about life who are so pig ignorant they know nothing about life outside their little enclave.
The thing is, too, that people like that have the vote. And exercise it. Can you imagine - decisions are being made by people who represent an ignorant cow like that. And conversely, some people who have their heads grounded firmly in reality can't be bothered to vote. So that bitch speaks for them.
