The post has just arrived. The Planning Department want my views on a proposal to build 2,500 homes, refurbish nearly a thousand more; and build premises that could include retail, professional, cafes, pubs; communtiy facilities such as library, creches, nurseries, primary school, community hall, gym,youth centre, health centre, elderly support facility, sports hall.
Also a Local Park and pocket parks.
Oh yes, it's the master plan!
So, st some time I have to examine the plans in minute detail, not because I have general objections, quite the opposite, but to ensure that there's nothing, especially on the plot across the road from me, that might detriment my facility. The devil is in the detail. Especially in Big Plans!
Progress is good. But time consuming!
