I think it's so very sad. I think we all get ourselvs into messes in our personal lives. I suppose hospital consultants are supposed to be Masters of the Universe, almost God - perhaps particularly in paediatrics. Not allowed to be weak. Not allowed to be chaotic. Whereas perhaps a lesser person would have been able to deal better with disruption and change.
I can't understand people who feel compelled to go to such lengths. But I accept that it happens. I don't condemn.
