The DVD arrived this morning, a nice fat packet, with a nice inlay booklet lavish with glossy photos. I shall stick it in the DVD player, but won't have time to watch it all this afternoon before Jimmy and I go cycling, or swimming, or slobbing, or something
Update: This seems to be a substandard product. Easily dealt with is the fact that it defaults to 4:3 (just a flick of a button changes it to the correct 16:9). More problematic is that the colour is washed out. Fiddling with the colour brightness leaves the stage action (and singers' faces) with a bluish tinge while the orchestra look as though they've been Tangoed. If I stick with the TV settings I have employed for months if not years leaves everyone on stage looking washed out, to the point of deathly pallor.
Sigh...I don't pay £30 for crap (obviously I'm not talking about the quality of the performance...!)
