Simple as that.
No excuses like I am physically or mentally unwell. I did think of the 'slight crick in my neck' but that isn't exactly impeding my PC usage in general.
I did think of the 'writer's block' excuse, but I have been writing elsewhere.
I could say I am busy, and I am, but I'm not horrendously busy. I've been a lot busier and still managed to blog. I'm in a new temporary position at work, but although that is taking all my attention whileI am there, it's not encroaching into my own time.
I did think of announcing a hiatus, but not before I have written reviews of Samson, Die Tote Stadt and Der Fliegender Holländer, which have been seen, and Dr Atomic which I am to see tomorrow (and again on 16 March).
I also have loads of links I want to post. Perhaps that is the reason. I am just going to have to accept that Magnolia isn't going to work any time soon and I don't like delicious, so I am going to have to revert to adding links manually. Which is going to make a mess of people's feed-readers.
So, there's no particular reason for not blogging, indeed there have been several times when I have had draft posts in my head. I have also not been reading other people's blogs, but maybe on 1 March I'll clear down the bloglines, accepting that there are over 2,000 blogposts I shall never even skim let alone read.
And this is the traditional - write a load rubbish and publish - post to break the writer's block before getting stuck into
