Gordon Brown is Wotan

I just thought I would mention the similarities now, before anyone else does, so it;s here on t'internet as being my observation. Unless, of course, someone else made it first.

Wotan lost his eye in a deal which made him head honcho of the gods. Gordon is alleged to have lost his playing rugby.

Wotan paid for Walhalla with the Rheingold taken from Alberich who took it from the Rhinemaidens. Gordon has been quite an enthusiast for the Private Finance Initiative.

Gordon has been known to disguise himself as a wolf and...okay, the analogy has run out there.
