For Plácido in Manchester! Woot and yay! Block B (Centre) down at the front. But Row K seems rather far back :-(
And I'm sure my mother will have an attack of the vapours when I tell her the price (she's insisting on paying for her ticket, I was not prepared to accept that, because I wanted the most expensive. We'll work it out...!)
And I hate Ticketmaster. I moan every time I use them, because they add 10% to the advertised price. I don't know why they don't advertise tickets at the price they will actually charge. Well, I do know, and I think it's wrong.
(They went on sale about an hour ago, and, currently, the splash page for the M.E.N Arena is nice...!)
And an article in yesterday's Evening News 'Opera king' Domingo to play city - as I wrote elsewhere
Here's me looking at the Manchester Evening News - as one does - and my heart skips a beat at a picture of Pláci captioned 'May Date'. > I had it all worked out, take him into Cheshire I thought, country pub followed by a fine restaurant. The rest, I thought would be up to him.
Then I thought, it didn't say he will, only that he may. And in any case, I suppose there would be other applicants younger and more beautiful than me.
