Here is a story that often told in Phoenix. I was not in AZ at the time so I'm not sure of the year.Placido Domingo sang a concert and was whisked off to a dinner immediately afterwards. After the dinner he returned and sang most of his selections for the people cleaning the hall. It was very much appreciated by the cleaning staff, most of whom are Spanish speaking.
