This CD arrived this morning, so I made haste to transfer it to my mp3 player, and I have been listening to it. Very nice, too!
A few minutes I was standing outside the office, as one does, and headbanging to Why do the nations so furiously rage together?, as one does, and some smug little git of a Tory MP walked by and looked at me with utter disdain and contempt. For a nano-second I was vaguely tempted to say "I'm headbanging to Messiah, actually" then I thought - it's irrelevant. If I was headbanging to Iron Maden, it would not give the prig the right to look at me in contempt. It must be awful to be an elected representative of the People and hold the People in such disdain.
