This surprised me somewhat. I just can't quite see Tone doing a joint Press Conference with the Taliban.
Then I realised that it was Talibani, President of Iraq.
Slightly unfortunate name, all things considered...
Then I flick onto the BBC Front Page and notice that a picture of Sale is lead story, as police storm IRA properties throughout Sale, Stretford and Bowdon. In some ways it seems a bit bizarre; in other ways perhaps unsurprising.
I don't think my mother would appreciate a phonecall instructing her to be blogger's assistant on the spot. I just hope that today's not an adult education class or else I shall be told all about the road closures in complete detail.
