All quite interesting, but one phrase leaped out at me:
She said that most of the drugs available today had been tested on men, which may mean they are not necessarily the best design for women.
Seriously?
Even in the 21st century we are still subject to discrimination based on paternalistically lazy science?
I know I shouldn't be shocked, but I am. We can argue until the cows come home about societal and cultural differences between women and men, but I don't think anyone would dispute that there are major inherent physical differences. Yet this has not been built into drugs trials?
Words fail me.
