Peter Naked Blog complains about people hitting his site with searches for 'Jude Law naked'. He makes the observation
Hint to young searchers, where ever you are: the chance of finding a genuine picture on the internet of Mr Law in the altogether are about as likely as a snowflake in the Sahara. Get real. Get a life. Phone a friend.
It echoes my own thinking the other day when I found a search request for "Paula Radcliffe Porn" As I commented on NB
I really can't imagine Paula being involved in porn. I can't even imagine her posing naked, or just topless, for a "Lads Mag". And, I thought, surely anyone with just the slightest interest in Paula will know that.Therefore, any Paula Radcliffe Porn they find on t'internet is going to be fictitious or photoshopped, the product of someone's imagination.
I can only conclude therefore that there are people so devoid of imagination they are not actually capable of fantasising about their fantasy object.
And that, really, is very sad.
It's also very sad that there are searchers who seem to think that it's 'normal' to find such stuff. I just think that the majority of people, famous or otherwise, simply don't want to display themselves in public. I'm not even going into a debate about psychology or hang-ups, right or wrong, the simple fact is that most people are modest about public nudity. Sometimes you come across unexpected nudity from unexpected people (Cherie Booth is one I read a rumour about), and that's just fine, but I just don't expect it of the vast majority. And I'm not sure that my life would be enhanced by a proliferation of nude, let alone, pornographic pictures of people.
Update: See Peter's comment below; I have found a link that shows pictures that seem to be Jude Law naked. Has this changed my life? Thinks for a second or two No.
My problem with Jude Law is that he may or may not be a decent actor, but whenever I've seen him in a film, he always manages to be upstaged by 'supporting actors' - Paul Newman, Clive Owen. And frankly, I'd take Paul Newman or Clive Owen any day above ten Jude Laws.
