You ain't going to find it here...
I am so going to blog this election. But in my own personal way...
Having campaigned tirelessly in 1987, 1992, 1997 and 2001, I am intending to take a somewhat lower key role this time around. The legs aren't really up to canvassing nor to leafletting, although I have volunteered for sedentary activities. But I am definitely going to blog it like mad. And probably do an 'Old Diaries' special, too.
I also going to definitely encourage comments, and the rules for commenting are a) no ad hominen attacks on me; b) only evidenced or humorous ad homs on candidates; c) any comments using words like 'Nazi' will be deleted; d) swearing should be justifiable by context. I will not delete comments or ban commenters lightly, but I will reserve the right to do so.
In between now and then there will also be numerous concerts and operas, football matches, a State visit by my sister and niece, a trip to Barcelona, and, er, work.
But, let battle commence...
