More on shingles

My sister has just pointed out to me something from the newsletter of her local secondary school

You may also remember from a previous newsletter that I asked you to contact school if your son or daughter had chicken pox, measles or shingles, as we have students in school whose immune systems are sensitive to certain illnesses. We would be very grateful if you have a child in school who begins to show symptoms of these illnesses, that you notify the school as soon as possible. We can then contact the parents of the pupils concerned who can make a decision as to whether they need to contact the hospital for advice. All information will be kept confidential.
