Yesterday I stood outside the building (still in Nibelheim) and glanced down the road. There seemed to be a couple of police vans parked outside Westminster Abbey. Must be something going on, I thought.
Didn't think anything more of it until I got home and watched the news. Turns out that Palestinians and Israelis are meeting at QEII together with Condoleezza Rice etc.
I was really surprised at how low key the security was, compared to, say, the State Visit of the President of South Korea.
