Actress Joan Collins spoke last night of her humiliation after Heathrow airport security staff ordered her to strip off items of clothing in front of other passengers.
That's awful. She's not a young woman, and it must be humiliating - certainly an invasion of privacy - to be forced to strip in front of random strangers.
The ex-Dynasty soap queen had to remove her hat, sunglasses, jacket and shoes
Hat, sunglasses, jacket and shoes. How humiliating!
I went through airport security once and set off the metal detector. I was humiliated. In front of other passengers. Turns out I had a cigarette lighter in my pocket. Would you believe that those b*stards then frisked me? They even gave me the right to have a woman doing it?
Another time I had to have my walking boots scanned and swabbed. The sheer utter humiliation. I did yell out very loudly "Don't you know who I am?" But they were not impressed by my claim to be one of Brixton Hill's top bloggers.
Spoilt bitch. If I were the security woman I would have her for assault.
