Disability law to 'name and shame' shops
And about time too.
Making public spaces accessible to people with disabilities is morally the right thing to do.
Economically, 9.8 million people can't be and shouldn't be ignored.
And thirdly, any place that is accessible for disabled people is better for all of us. I am not disabled but welcome accessibility. Occassionally I have suffered short term limiting conditions - sprained ankles, dislocated shoulder etc. Carrying luggage around - a suitcase, a weekend bag, a briefcase or rucksack of work - limits mobility. Many of you have had experience of poor accessibility for pushchairs and buggies.
