There's seems to be a lot of people dying recently. I mean famous people. Famous people who, on the whole, have surpassed their three score years and ten.
Let me see - Paul Foot, Carlos Kleiber, Francis Crick, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Red Adair, Bernard Levin, and Fay Wray. That's quite a roll-call in just three weeks.
And I'm sure I've forgotten someone.
The Blog of Death is a useful resource concerning those famous in the USA.
Anyone fancy collaborating on a UK-focused blog of death?
Update: Just spotted an obituary for Margaret Simey. A remarkable woman - died two weeks ago aged 98. Not so famous, but definitely worthy of an RIP on my blog.
