'Britain's worst stalker' jailed
I didn't know he was actually up in court, and I don't claim to have been terrorised, but I did get rather bored with all the emails...
But he's not the bloke who caught me unawares two days before the 1997 Election. There was I, stuffing envelopes in the 'shop' we had rented for the duration. This bloke came in and started ranting about the then Tory government, and went on to say that he had written many letters to Teresa Gorman. When he mentioned that he had written them in green ink, 'so that she will notice them', I realised with horror that all my so-called comrades had escaped to the back of the shop.
When he said it was vital that everybody sends hate mail to Teresa Gorman in green ink, I went and locked myself in the Ladies. (It's amazing how many women can fit in a toilet cubicle when necessary!)
