Their eponymously titled album was the first thing I bought with my first student grant. they were also the first band I saw at a proper gig. And Don't Leave Me This Way was number one - and played frequently at discos - when I started at University, so for those reasons alone, I would be fond of this album.
I do believe that it ought to be listened to in semi-darkness. I don't know why, something about the mood, I think. Even before I play through it, I just know that it must be added to one of my favourite albums. But then I listen to individual tracks, almost all of which are special in their own right- DLMTW, Disenchanted, So Cold the Night
Greatly underrated - they just don't make pop albums like this anymore...
Their other album I possess, also dating from student days is Red. To be honest, it doesn't reach the hgh standards of their first, but is still worth having - not one turkey. I especially like T.M.T. ♥ T.B.M.G, For a Friend, and If I Could Tell You.
