Years ago, Neil Farebrother made his debut for Lancashire. He was on 99 NO when Lancashire declared. I moaned about how unfair that was - the captain should have at least waited until he made his century, but my father commented that he would be more remembered for making 99 NO in a declaration.
And let's face it, everybody knows Vienna ought to have been number one when Shuddup Your Face was.
I got a tad alarmed in conversation with someone a few weeks back, someone I regard as being *about* my age, who commented that Shuddup Your Face was number one when she was born. I realised that I am probably older that I like to think I am.
