I'm playing it differently this year. I don't know who's in the team, I don't know what frocks the wives will be wearing (let's face it, I don't even know the names of most of the wives...), I haven't bought any specials or Match Weekly or Shoot or South London Press's FA Cup Final Edition (ooh, no, no). I will not begin preview until 1 pm when the BBC' TV coverage begins.
However, I am excited. I'm trying to decide whether to wear my red shirt, or my *lucky* green and yellow Newton Heath shirt. Planning food and drink for the match.
And don't forget the other Final taking place tomorrow - ACT Brumbies v Canterbury Crusaders. My mother, sister, brother and sister-in-law saw the Crusaders triumphant against the Brumbies in Canterbury. Let's hope tomorrow's final is a repeat...!
