Five weeks off, and what have I done?
It's the stuff of dreams, innit? Five weeks.
Books to read, house to blitz and purge. You know, constructive stuff...
Well, in that time, I have slept a lot. Spent a fair amount of time writing this blog. not much reading blogroll. Will do in April. Promise.
Watched an awful lot of TV, and even more of my videos/DVDs. But I don't think I have watched the News more than about once. Me, erstwhile-political junkie? Is there politics going on? Listened to a fair amount of music - but actually a a fairly small amount on constant replay. Written a fair amount of crap fiction.
Haven't edited - or taken - any photos. Didn't read those books. Or the New Statesman for that matter.
I've barely been out beyond my local Triangle. A couple of restaurant trips. A trip or two to Sainsburys. Twice to Streatham. Three times to culture.
Computer games. Ah, the curse of the geek classes. I don't even do 'gaming'. Just those cardgames that come with Windows. Or on the phone. Or on my Palm.
Five weeks just flies. I'm going back to work on Monday but have told my manager I might take a day's leave if I feel tired.
I really appreciate all your kind messages and emails and what-not. Sorry I haven't replied, but I'm a bit crap at that.
