So much has been written about the Coliseum refurb it needs to be seen (a friend of a friend is in the chorus and says the splendour even extends to the dressing rooms, which are much improved). Just a shame that ENO haven't yet responded to my ticket request, unlike all the other venues that manage to turn them around in less than a week.
Oh, and a tip, if you are feeling bored, or in need of more exhiliration after England whop Scots ass this evening, why not try The Tempest on BBC4. Broadcast on the wireless it sounded ethereally modern and tunefully traditional. The Guardian Leader column said:
