My pro-Beeb statement is here
Hat tip to the wonderful Bingo who incidentally poses an interesting ethical dilemma on another post.
It seems that the Great British public are having a rare attack of common sense YouGov found that 67 per cent trust BBC news journalists to tell the truth, compared with 31 per cent who trust the Government.
Meanwhile, a big hand of solidarity from this striker goes out to my brethren having a proper strike over the right sort of issue.
I have to say, bringing us out on strike on these two days, of all days, is typical of the utter nitwit posturing Trotskyite so-called leadership of my pathetically inept Trade Union who actually have a message saying Strikes receive massive publicity.
We are a Civil Service Union. You would have thought that someone might have considered that the publication of the Hutton Report might warrant a little more attention than a walkout by a bunch of 'penpushers'. But they're so busy pursuing their own agenda they're incapable of seeing the world around them.
Cunts.
I now put out a call-to-arms to my fellow country people. The BBC is your birthright. Defend it. After the NHS and the scenery it is the singlemost important reason to be proud to be British.
