I'm torn. I don't see any point in striking over pay - it's counter productive: if I strike and lose two days pay, that doesn't magically get redistributed to the colleagues on poverty pay. Besides, as a specialist I have the benefit of a significant pay lead, and being in middle management, I get a fairly decent whack for limited resposibility. I doubt that our majority is particularly convincing and almost certainly on a low turnout. However, I have an in principle problem in crossing picket lines. Besides, I've never been on strike in my life, and may find blogging opportunities from it (or maybe I'll just stay at home and do sod all).
