Meanwhile, from my prime position in the heart of the Free Speech Zone, I can report that the Royal Standard over the Palace has grown to impressively ginormous standards, and a military band is currently playing. It might be our usual boys down below but I see no sign of them on the Parade Ground, so I assume it's from Buck House. If I recognised the tune, I'd tell you.
Oh, and in the coffee shop this morning, I spotted a man wearing a dark suit, with an earpiece dangling from his ear, so I presume he's one of those protestors pretending to be a Secret Service Agent.
On the way in, the Tube was swarming with teenagers. Judging by their conversation, I'm assuming it's Schoolies' Protest Day
