I'm not superstitious. It's just - when I see a penny shimmering on the stairs down to te Tube station, I have to pick it up. Not because it will bring me good luck. Just because, if I don't, I'll dwell on it all day, and probably create my own bad luck in the process.
I arrived at work and opened my glasses case. It was empty. Roger told em that we, as a Unit had run out of crates, which is unfortunate, because we are moving today and I am totally not packed. Update, they've just arrived.
Boots the Chemist phoned. They have definitely lost the film I deposited with them three weeks ago. They have offered compensation. I said I did not want compensation. I am currently trying to decide what to say when 'Chris' the manager phones this afternoon.
The Mailbox button on my phone was lit. I thought I had a message. Two messages actually. they weren't messages. As such. You know that bit when someone forgets to lock their keypad and inadvertently phone your number?
It's just a shame that they do it when they are in a pub with their assistant, and I don't especially like the way they're talking to their assistant.
Of course he's denied it all. But right now, I don't believe him. And I don't really care.
