For me, the perfect cup of chow would probably be Assam, made in a ceramic tea pot, poured in a china cup, with milk added first, no sugar. I actually prefer semi-skimmed to full fat. The tea has to be of a dark colour.
Generally, I drink Sainsbury's or M&S teabags ina mug, with the hot water poured on, a bit of stirring, and the addition of semi-skimmed milk.
My Lady Grey I drink weak with no milk or sugar.
