Update: I'm responding to Raffe's comment here, because so much html and I'll end up breaking my 'most recent comments' features and junking my comments for too many links...!
His own site is the most reliable source but needs updating into the New Year - I know he's in New York in February, Paris in April, London in May (yes!!!). Of course, Washington and Los Angeles Operas are useful resources, although after Parsifal in LA he has nothing lined up with either in the Spring, except for Washington's sold-out Golden Gala in March. I think he's going to Japan with the Met in June.
In general, I find the google news tabs in English, Spanish, French, Italian and German to be useful, especially if I have the patience to sift through peripheral irrelevance and the annoying habit that Google has of spidering every one-horse US town online newspaper that consists mainly of AP wires.
Otherwise it's just a case of keeping eyes and ears open.
