I cry foul ALL NEW! Political survey - Your results - I will willingly agree that I am a rehabilitation-internationalist, but I am not a free market pro-war person. The hint might have been that I put a 'strongly disagree' that Britain was right to go war with Iraq.
And I'm not in favour of higher income tax. This isn't because I;m in favour of lower public-spending, but I think there is a slight perversity, rarely challenged, that something that ny good socilaist like myself would argue for - full employment, is then taxed, when I feel that the burden of taxation should fall on unearned income, but most of all on activities that are harmful in some way to society.
I will not accept that one third of the population is more socialist and anti-war than me. Hmm, on the issues that may attract a P45 I am 'very left wing' although I call myself fairly left wing.
No, this survey is piss poor. Socialism isn't just an 'economic' tag. I am a socialist on the P45 issues (nod wink say no more) because I am socialiist. I'm a redistributionist who believes in strong public services. they sau Greens are most likely to share my views. But Greens are very dodgy on gender issues and matters of sexuality, reproduction and so on. Remember, I'm a socilaist.
