Saint Helena to get first airport

That really is news! One of the reasons they haven't had one thus far is to do with finding alternative airports if that happens to be closed. You know, London is fog or snowbound, planes are diverted to Bournemouth or Paris or Manchester. But with St Helena nowhere was regarded as within range. Obviously they've changed their minds.

I actualy know someone who has been to St Helena, more than once. Via Ascension, but also via Cape Town.
