If someone made a racist comment about me, three people out of 20-odd thousand, I would not really worry too much. It is not the crime of the century.
But it's unlikely that people will make racist comments at you, isn't it, Sullivan. The BBC News last night more or less echoed my view that it is entirely legitimate for 22,000 Blackburn fans to chant "Blackburn reject" loudly to Dwight Yorke. And I'm sure Dwight knows that.
No footballer - just like no other person - should have to put up with racist taunts whether it's from one person, three, or however many. and i don't think Sullivan has any right publicly criticising Yorke's reaction.
And to think that some newspapers were trying to claim last week that racism is now absent from British football. ..
