Drivers Swerve around injured woman.
This is absolutely indicative of the selfish, cocooned, I'm allright jack, I don't give a shit attitude that thrives in the dormant dormitory suburbs. Last night, a woman lay injured in the gutter opposite my bus stop, in the inner-city. I didn't go to offer assitance because when I arrived, half a dozen or more people already were assisting.
The suburbs de-humanise. And yet people want to live there and become less than human.
I blame Margaret Thatcher explicitly for this callous disregard.
