I know this is out of sequence, but I've just started reading through my 1985 diaries. This from January:
I must tell you about when Andy placed his hands tenderly on my shoulders.
"Don't lay a finger on her, Crane!" demanded John.
"Don't flap John. She won't catch anything," Andy reassured the MCR (Master Control Room) in general. "Anything she hasn't got already."
I was laughing. Angie said, "That doesn't sound very nice, Andy."
That's when he kissed the top of my head, and he said, "Meaning, I've got nothing, and she's got nothing." He sent a tingle down my spine.
