Very interesting article in the Observer about the growth of the sex industry. Over a decade ago a consultative exercise in Streatham with numerous 'respectable' community groups called for decriminalisation.
I supposed if prostitution was decriminalised or legalised, it would allow for regulation, including protection of minors, and free up resources to fighting the organised crime elements.
But the reported increase in demand and supply is really rather depressing.
