In the Champions League, Monaco have beaten Deportivo La Coruna 8-3.
I must be well out of the anorak-loop in European football, because if United had been drawn in that group, I would have pursed my lips anxiously at Deportivo and shrugged at Monaco.
Indeed, Deportivo beat my boys 2-0 less than eight months ago; okay, mainly reserves, as I blogged at the time.
But 8-3 is not the scoreline you expect to see at this level.
Glad to see Arsenal winning a rare European victory. Prolong the agony a bit more...
