It's a bit much that even citizens of nations supposedly in alliance with the US cannot have a fair trial in accordance with international jurisprudence. Nations are judged by the degree of humanity with which their governments treat the least deserving and most wretching. The abuses of Guantanamo show the US Government to be wanting in humanity. That is how the US will be judges by many of the world's nations and people.
