As I predicted, Liverpool have got it because of the whine, whinge, we're badly-done-by factor. Forget the exciting commitment to innovation in Gateshead. After all, as Mike McCartney said on the radio, Liverpool has the Beatles, two football teams and two Cathedrals.
I, for one, will not be patronising it.
