Mainly photos. Lots and lots of photos. Just about my entire photo collection from 1984-2000 is now scanned into the PC. I have added a few new albums to the Middle Bar. I really want to draw your attention to the one called 'Boring'.
Some years ago, on a whim, I bought a book called Boring Postcards. It's a splendid book, definitely the thing to bring out at Dinner Parties. Indeed, every good home should have a copy. It has the most eloquent reviews on Amazon and even an animated review on YouTube. Naturally, my favourite is Sale Leisure Centre, which also appears on Flickr looking uncharacteristically interesting.

All the photos posted thus far on 'Boring' pre-date my acquisition of the book, and were taken in earnest attempts to document my life. Sadly, Basingstoke Railway station has not made the final cut; the thumb over the lens lent it an undeserving aura of interest.
I am sure that as I edit more of my photos, I will find many more that are engagingly Boring (rather than editing my old photos in strict chronological order I am systematically doing a handful from each month of each year).
Having been inspired to publish this set of Boring Photos I shall be tempted to take deliberately boring photos. I shall have to resist the temptation because it might end up contrived....
