Placido Domingo reopens New Orleans Arena

Domingo sang in public for the first time after taking nearly three months off with health problems...Saying his first New Orleans appearance 44 years ago was good luck for him early in his career, Domingo expressed the hope that this visit will be good luck as he resumes his extraordinarily long-lasting career.

And let's hope New Orleans is it on its way back, too
