Death of yet another celebrity
Okay, he was Liverpool captain. And an arch-Tory. But he was England captain, an icon of sport for my generation. I read his 'autobiography' in my early teens. And I met him once, at Question of Sport, Feb 1985.
It was no surprise to read this - I read about his tumour about a year ago - but it's still a shock. And so young.
