Situated as I am in the heart of London's Westminster village, a mere spit from Westminster Abbey, I shall try, to the best of my ability, and without compromise to my personal safety, to blog my impressions of what is happening.
At the moment, all is quiet. The Union flag flies over Buck House; a hideous marquee, perhaps in Stars and Stripes, or, maybe the Texan flag, has been erected out front. A steady stream of vehicles enters and leaves the Palace, but otherwise, all is calm.
Meanwhile, rumours are rife: the park is closed, or will be closed, all people will be X-rayed and their bags searched, or perhaps only as they approach the Mall.
Questions remained unanswered - how will we be affected when he visits Westminister Abbey? What Tube stations will be closed?
If you need any - reasonable - matters investigated, just leave a comment
