Billy Bragg

I first saw him on the Red Wedge tour in 1987 and have seen him many times over the intervening years. One of the most underrated singer-songwriters that there is. I would be hard pushed to think of anybody who writes so well about life, both the Political and the Personal.
I also adore Billy as a singer. He is expressive, and the East London accent is endearing...!
I suspect that he will eventually graduate into the role of National Treasure.
